We started as a dream but in March 2019 we put our family dream in to action. Our mission and venture sounded and looked hard but our key was to focus and follow our dreams.

If you want something, then you have to go and of course GET IT! That’s exactly what we did.

Everything that drives our business is done from our home excluding the Beehives. As much as i would love to sit watching TV and having bees fly around our house, its just totally not practical for many reasons.

We have converted an area within our home and created a candle shack where all the cleaning of the wax, creation of the candles and stickering of our products is done.

Our long term goal is to have our very own Beehive farm and farm shop.

Dream it.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Customer service is absolutely paramount to us at The Yorkshire Beeswax Candle Company.
If our level of satisfaction is unsatisfactory we welcome you to contact us.
We are a friendly family business and always try to improve our fantastic satisfaction levels.
If you develop a problem with any product we ask you to contact us at the soonest opportunity so we can provide help and support and resolve any issues you may have.
We aim to answer all complaints with 12-24 hours however during busy periods this may be slightly longer.

All our products are handmade and we continue to make improvements if necessary. We do accept that some errors may occur but we will do everything to rectify any issue in a professional manner and give customers the satisfaction they deserve.

Delivery and Dispatch

Getting orders dispatched and safely to the customers provided address safely is paramount.

We are always making improvements and will continue .to maintain a high level of satisfaction.

We understand that issues happen but we will do everything to solve any issues.

We now use HERMES as our main postal service. All packages are sent recorded delivery and should arrive with the customer in 3 - 5 days of dispatch. Order can be delivered sooner.

To be notified of the complete progress please provide a mobile number on your order. Dispatch and delivery times will be sent via the Hermes online portal.

We understand that is very annoying when an item goes missing. If this happens please contact us and we will do everything to track and trace your order.

Please note that no replacements will be dispatched until track and trace has been completed. This may take up to 3 working days however we will do everything in our power to speed this up and get your order to you.

 

Candle Safety

  • Never burn your candle for more than 4 hours.

  • If your flame gets large, blow out and let the candle cool.

  • Always trim your wick after every burn.

  • Follow safety instructions on the safety sticker provided.

Testing of Products

All our products are tested in house and by independent people. At the time of testing following safety guidelines on the safety sticker we are satisfied that our candles are safe.

Every batch re create has a test candle and will always be tested before a batch is released.
